My career began right here in Santa Barbara after graduating from Paul Mitchell The School, and I’ve been behind the chair for over 14 years. Along the way, I had the opportunity to live and work in New Zealand, where I continued to refine my craft before eventually returning home to the Central Coast. I’m passionate about ongoing education and have been proud to educate alongside Davines, an experience that continues to inspire the thoughtful, personalized approach I bring to every appointment.

I take the time to understand your goals, your lifestyle, and the level of maintenance that feels realistic for you, creating a plan that prioritizes both beautiful results and the long-term health of your hair. I intentionally allow extra time for my lightening appointments and don’t book other clients during those services, so you receive my full attention in a relaxed, one-on-one environment. My goal is to create thoughtful color that not only looks beautiful the day you leave but continues to grow out beautifully, helping you enjoy longer between appointments.

I started my career in Colorado, where I attended Toni&Guy and worked behind the chair for several years before moving to Santa Barbara. I’ve been behind the chair for 16 years and have owned Amari Salon for the past 6 years. I continue to take education classes throughout the year to stay current and continue growing my skills. I also spent some time as an extensions educator, but ultimately decided my passion was being behind the chair and working one-on-one with my clients.

I want to really get to know you and your hair before we decide what we’re going to do. I want to understand your goals, your lifestyle, how much maintenance you realistically want, and your past hair experiences—what you loved and what you didn’t. From there, we’ll create a plan that makes sense for your hair, your lifestyle, and what you’re actually willing to maintain.
